This coming Saturday, May 18th, 2024, Rubber City Radio Group - in partnership with Akron Police, Summit County Sheriff, and the State Highway Patrol - will be hosting Vehicle Safety Inspections & Shredding Day. The event is FREE to the public, and takes place 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Akron Radio Center (1795 W. Market Street, Akron, 44313). NO TICKETS WILL BE ISSUED...our law enforcement agencies simply want to help motorists identify any issues related to their vehicle so we can proactively fix them.
Additionally, Weaver SecureShred will be on site to help residents safely discard old files, paperwork, or any sensitive material. We all have these types of items laying around the house because we know we shouldn't just throw them in the trash. This event is an opportunity to rid yourself of such items for free in a safe, secure manner.
