It’s been a busy few months for me, and I’m looking forward to summer weekends ahead and enjoying all that Akron has to offer. There’s so much to do it’s hard to keep up with things. All the events for Akron’s Bicentennial celebration, Shakespeare at Stan Hywet, hiking and biking on the Towpath, Monday night concerts at Hardesty Park, the Ballet and symphony in Akron’s Parks and more. And after 6 month’s campaigning, I even enjoy mowing the lawn!

As it warms up, and folks are getting outside more, I’m getting more calls and emails, be it road repairs, sewers, housing , or trash issues, and I’m happy to help. I do want you to remember that you can use both 311 call center or download the 311 app to request service yourself. But if you’d rather , just give me a call or shoot me an email.

Reminder Ward meeting  is Wednesday Night  6/18 at Northwest Family Rec center.  City Arborist  Matt Knull and the members of the  Akron Tree commission will present.

Have a great kick off to summer!
